Native Americans of old
believed a lot in spirits…spirits of nature, animals, and other things too…maybe
a lot of them still do…some people find that silly, but I don’t think it’s any
more silly than some of the things that other people believe in…in fact, I
think it has a lot more truth to it than most other things that people believe
in…man is the only being intelligent enough to know that he’s going to die
someday…yet he also invents things that are a real stretch to get your arms around…you’re
born, you make the best of the time you have, and then you die…pretty simple
stuff…even Buddha was asked what happens after we die, and he said he didn’t
know because he hadn’t died yet…so why spend a lot of time worrying about it
like some folks do?
