I was reading about a
pet who had gone to the ‘Rainbow Bridge’ as the dog rescue group put it…I
admire them for working with dogs but this whole notion of a rainbow bridge
where your dog is waiting for you seems to be ridiculous…it might be comforting
for some folks to think that someday they’ll be reunited with their loved pet,
and for all I truly know, it might be true…bad I doubt it…in fact it just
sounds silly to me…of course there are the hucksters who sell jewelry while
pushing that idea…I guess the idea of death and the probable finality of things
just scares people to death (bad pun)…who knows?...maybe we move on to another
existence of some sort and maybe somebody or something is waiting for us… but I
doubt it’s gonna be a long departed pet of ours…
