Worry, Worry, Worry

If we worry, does our future change? Worry is a time consuming event for many. This can lead to mental and physical disturbances. Stress, high blood pressure, anxiety attacks, and much more can be directly traced to worry. Animals probably do not spend a great deal of time worrying. They just go about their lives doing what must be done. Why can we not do the same?

The man who cannot control his own destiny should not spend valuable time ruing such. If our destiny is out of hands, we can only seek to handle what is given to us with grace. Often times, things are out of our control. This often causes anxiety. However it is not the adversity that defines us. It is the way we handle problems that defines what kind of person we are.

If we can control our own destiny, then we have no worry as we have control of our own destiny. This sometimes occurs, but more often the former is prevalent. Worrying is not a very good use of time. Most of the things we worry about never happen. We work ourselves into a frenzy for nothing. Worry only churns up mind. Let wisdom of Tao be gentle breeze that calms stormy sea.
