| 'Boats Ashore' |
When we are on one side of the
ocean, we cannot see the other side, yet we know that it exists…when the sun
sets, we no longer see it but it is still there…our boat may be pulled ashore,
but it does not mean that new discoveries do not occur…it is this understanding
that clarifies the vague, clears the muddy, cleans the disheveled…perhaps it is
this understanding that allows us to remain firmly entrenched in the Dao, even
when we feel that we are disconnected from it…we are not disconnected at all,
but merely on another level.
