A mountain asks no
questions, and what good do answers do if you don’t know the questions. The
same mountain that can shield you can kill you. Throughout the passes the wise
men traverse. They find little caves somewhere where they chant and pray. A
weary bird rests on a small branch in search of food for its young. The wind
makes things even chillier as if it is not cold enough. Somewhere, none of this
makes a difference and that truly is a poorer place to be in.
