Wish Of The Winds

The key to sweeping leaves effectively is perhaps not the broom or rake we are using. Instead it might be in persistence. Now, we sweep the leaves. Tomorrow or in a few hours, or maybe even in moments, leaves return. There is great persistence in the leaves as a whole, but each individual leaf has no master plan, no life coach to tell it what to do and when to do it. Leaves are a most excellent teacher. They simply fall when it is their time and they are not worried about where they fall or where they might wind up based upon the wish of the winds. It would be nice maybe if we lived our lives that way; not worrying so much about where we were, or where we are, or where we might end up. If we could only live in the moment, experiencing what is; going from moment to moment in the present at all times instead of worrying about the past or the future.
