The Dao sends out many
secret communiques each and every day to us. The problem is though that unless
we know how to de-code them, their messages fall upon deaf ears; their wisdom
goes unheard, their examples unseen. All of this is our fault. We are too busy
caught up in the shallowness of our lives to pay attention. What is important
we ignore, what is trivial, we celebrate and become immersed in. Thus, valuable
messages are lost. What we think is vital is meaningless in the grand scheme.
Seconds, minutes, years pass by in the blink of an eye and we are blind to
seeing what it should all mean. All the messages are lost in translation. Then
one day, we are at the end. All the time wasted and lost cannot be retrieved.
