As the old joke goes, I
was fired from the orange juice factory because I couldn’t concentrate. It is
no joke though that so many of us can’t concentrate on one thing for long. We
jump from one thing to another to another; never being satisfied or content
with the status quo. We always want the next biggest thing, or something
shinier than what we have now. Why is contentment so hard to find? We are never
satisfied and we don’t know what we have until it is gone. That is the great
sadness.
