How does mysticism relate to types of religious experiences
that people have? Both take one part faith, one part belief, and contain a
certain amount of truth. The truth being also that we see what we want to see,
hear what we want to hear, believe what we want to believe; so who can decide
on what the truth really is? Beliefs change and so can truth. What is true
tomorrow may not be true today. Not only that, but there can be many versions
of the ‘truth’. Try to get ten witnesses to agree on what they saw some time if
you’re skeptical.
