A mind should be
strong enough to remain steadfast in the face of adversity, but pliable enough
to adapt to changing surroundings. The mind that is fixed is a mind that is
closed. A mind should be open like a parachute to be effective. You wouldn’t
think of jumping out of a plane without having access to a parachute that can
open. Do not think of going through life with a mind that is closed; dark and
damp inside, refusing to allow light in it.
