The Perfectionist

What does it mean to be a perfectionist, yet be indifferent to success of failure? It means to do one’s work and then rest, content with the action of work itself. It is to enjoy the journey without worrying about the destination or creating expectations that lead to disillusionment.  Success often brings the weight of the world upon one’s shoulders. Failure can be the greatest teacher. One who is indifferent to both can remain in harmony at all times.
