It was a cool and cloudy
evening as a long time student was leaving the temple…He asked Master Li for some
final words before he departed…Well, old Master Li thought about it for a few
seconds and then responded “Live your life, trust the Dao. Know that even in
the darkest moments, the sun will come up... Know that the moon will always cross
the sky... Know that the tides will rise and fall... It happens not to just you,
but every living thing in this world. How you interpret that will guide you on
your path... I trust that we have given you the wisdom to understand.”... Pretty
good advice if you ask me.
