You just can’t rely on
contentment coming from outer conditions…when it is dry, the farmers complain,
when it rains, the farmers complain…farmers seem to complain a lot about
things…instead find the inner conditions that are conducive to inner
contentment…one is by forging independence from looking for the approval of
others…little kids do that…they do something and then they look over at Mom and
Dad for approval…as an adult, you shouldn’t be looking to anyone…except
yourself…people who look for contentment in outside sources often find
themselves complaining a lot too…if you can learn to look within yourself,
you’re a lot more likely to find it.
