Your goal should be to become a contemplative hermit, not somewhere in a
cave in the Himalayas, but in the middle of your everyday life; somewhere in
your living room, your kitchen, outside in the garden, wherever. What good is
wisdom if it is hidden away in the confines of a dark and dank mountainside?
Contemplate the oceans, the moon, the sun, the stars, the universe, all and
that surrounds you in the natural world. Contemplate your place, your mind,
your existence. Stop complaining about things and contemplate.
