In this hocus-pocus
world of ours, learn to let go of the things which do not serve you, but instead
force you in their subversive way to serve them. Possessions can be called
possessions because of their power. There are things that we may think that we
possess, but in reality it is they who can possess us. We possess a new car in
our minds, but that car possesses us in the fact that we have to get up early,
wipe the sleep from our eyes and go out and work for it, and maybe scrimp and
save every penny to pay for it. We buy an electronic item and we find ourselves
addicted to it at the expense of more important things. Are these material
items that will de-materialize really worth the trade-off?
