Oz never gave nothing to
the tin man that he didn’t already have. No one can give you lasting happiness
or lasting peace. Many things we are in search of we already have. We just
don’t realize it. It’s like when we are searching for our glasses only to
discover they are on top of our head. You have to find it for yourself within.
Happiness and peace aren’t handed out like awards at a children’s event, where
everyone gets one. You have to learn where to look for it. It’s usually not in
the biggest this or that, or the most beautiful this or that. The superficial
is not the place to look for such things. Relying on someone else for your
happiness is sketchy as best.
