"Body and soil, not
two," says an old Japanese proverb. The soil provides the food that feeds all
the animals in the universe and ourselves too. We rely on our planet for our
very being yet we as a group treat the planet badly. Whatever your stance on
global warming, there is no denying that glaciers are crumbling, snow caps
melting, and the planet is growing warmer. If we don’t take care of the Earth,
it will no longer be able to take care of us. No political stance here, just
simple truth.
