I Want To Be A Livin' Man

What is life? What is living? It’s not merely existing on some superficial plane…

A livin' man
A livin' man
I want to be, a livin' man

In all the world
He moves around
He walks around
He turns around
I see each tree
I read each vein
I hear each bug
upon each leaf

The buzzing flies
The splashing fish
They moves around this living man

A livin' man
A livin' man
I want to be, a livin' man

Henri Lanoe

How many people are dead but alive? How many more sleepwalk when they are not sleeping? How many are on a course set by an automatic pilot…and the how many are truly alive? How many are really living…experiencing…understanding? Time passes whether we realize it or not. How many make the most of it? The hands of time often cause us to come to our knees. The sun crosses the sky without a sound. The moon rises without fanfare. The tides come and go and what are we doing?
