I like art for
art’s sake but I can’t say the same for most of the artists I’ve met. Many of
them seem to be self-centered, self-important souls with contrived artists’
statements or missions. I enjoy the creativeness inside that results in a
drawing, a painting, a sculpture or something else. The best piece of art is
the one you enjoy yourself. It doesn’t have to win some kind of contest. All
that matters is that you like it. The Dao compares itself to no one and neither
should we.
