Charlie Chan and The Zodiac Killer

One of the best movies in the Charlie Chan series in my view was “Charlie Chan at Treasure Island”. What does this have to do with the Zodiac Killer? The Zodiac Letters refer to a time in the 1960s and 1970s, when there was a certain criminal in the San Francisco Bay area that escaped detection by the police department. He was identified as the Zodiac killer for the puzzling letters he sent to law enforcement and to the media. Although one of the four letters were cracked, the other three have never been identified, even until now despite tests on DNA. The chilling crimes have never been solved. Many have come forward claiming to be the Zodiac killer or to have known the killer, but none of these claims could ever be verified. To this day, the mystery continues. Some experts who have spent time researching the Zodiac Killer have suggested the killer may have used the Dr. Zodiac character from the film ‘Charlie Chan at Treasure Island’ when creating his alias.
