All you have to do is look around and see that decay and
renewal is a simple fact of life. It’s so simple that most people can’t grasp
it. You can’t have renewal all the time, things can’t stay the way they are. We
fall into decay just like all things in nature. Trees once tall and mighty fall
to the ground. There’s just no avoiding it no matter how much you kid yourself.
You might be able to fool the mirror, but you don’t fool Father Time. If you
don’t accept that, you’re in for a lot of suffering when the inevitable occurs.
