You can’t be one with the Dao if you don’t follow the
path. You don’t get where you’re going if you go the wrong way. You don’t make
cherry cheesecake with rotten pickles. You may not know where you’re going but
you can know how you’re going to get there. You’ve got to have the right
ingredients if you’re going to make a special dish. You’ve got to have the
recipe. You can’t just make stuff willy-nilly because that usually don’t work
out too well.
