The teacup that is filled
to the brim easily spills even in the most careful of hands. The sword that is
sharpened too much will become brittle and break when it is needed most. The small
fire built to warm the hands in the middle of the forest that grows too big out
of carelessness becomes dangerous and can damage thousands of acres. Know when
to say when. Know when enough is enough. Often less is more and more is less.
The sage understands this principle and acts accordingly.
