I believe it was the Dalai Lama who said that all people had something in common, and that was to be happy. I offer that some people do not know how to be happy. If you gave them a car made of gold, they would complain about the color. It can also be said that the way people go about happiness is a tangled web that weaves itself into many directions. Happiness to some is counting their millions of dollars in the hope of making more. Others find happiness in a simple sunset, walking among the pines, or the first snowfall of the year. One thing is for certain, happiness and life itself both slip away if we are not careful.
