One of my new
favorite songs isn’t so new. It’s called ‘Ain’t Got A Dime To My Name’ and it
is sung by Bing Crosby in the film ‘The Road To Morocco’. With lyrics such as, “Ain’t
got a dime to my name, what a terrible shame…Ho Hum”….and “There’s nothing
quite as grotesque as a man at a desk, looking outside at the sun…”, I find the
lyrics to be Dao-like. The song portrays a guy who isn’t concerned about the
common definition of success and prefers a shady tree instead. It is a catchy
tune with great lyrics. Look it up on YouTube sometime.
