In
the summer, we look for the cool shade of a tree or building to avoid the
oppressive heat of the day. In the winter, we pull up a chair or sit on the
ground in the sun to feel the warmth of the sun rays as I did today while
meditating on a chilly morning. These are obvious examples of yin and yang and
knowing when to seek one or the other. There are times though when it may not
be so apparent to us. That is when we can rely on Dao wisdom to guide us
towards the right decision.
