You
can climb higher and higher up the twisty, rocky path that leads to the top of
the mountain. After you reach the top, there is nowhere to go but down. You
cannot keep going up. That is the yin and yang of things; that which is down
now will be up, and that which is up will go down. Up tied to down, down tied
to up. That is the cycle of all things Dao.
