Tea Leaves

Be careful of what might seem to be an improvement. Not all improvements are improvements. A pond with frozen water that promises a shortcut may be thin ice than will break under our steps and plunge us into extremely cold water. A toxic prescription drug can help alleviate one problem but may cause three or four others. Do what must be done, but no more. A good artist knows when his painting is finished and puts down his brush. Read the tea leaves and then finish your tea. What is better is not always best and less is often more.
