The Dao has no favorites. It treats all the same. One cannot curry favor with the Dao. There is no influence that can influence it. Nothing in the world is softer or weaker than water, yet nothing is better at overcoming the hard and strong. To flow with the Dao is to find smooth seas. When all is said and done, there will be nothing to say or do, but the Dao will carry on.
