There is always danger where men are evil, but knowledge is best weapon for protection.
Whenever possible, attempt to be on good terms with all. Yet, realize that others who do not know or understand the way of the Tao may find us difficult to comprehend, or may ridicule us. The wise realize the ways of others but do not let their ways influence them. Respect your own ways first and foremost. You may ask how we can find peace in such an un-peaceful world. Know that peace lies not in the world, but in the one who walks the path.
