We encounter many difficulties in life. One way to deal with them in a clear manner is to meditate. Meditation calms the anxieties and disturbances that can occur in the mind. Our mind should be calm like a pond on a windless day. Meditation can not only be done in a zendo or in your space that you meditate in. Meditation can be done while washing dishes, clearing the garden, or drinking a cup of tea. We can concentrate on being one with whatever we are doing at the moment. This not only leads itself to doing a better job, but it can make the task more enjoyable. We do not ‘do’ things, we experience them.
