Man has his dark side to this nature. It is the side that creates hate, greed, brutality. We cannot hope to conquer this darkness in all people. We can seek to conquer it within ourselves by living by the wisdom of the Tao. If only more people would seek this way, the world would have peace and harmony. It is this darkness that gives birth to brightness. Both are products of the Tao.
