The eyes are often masters of deception as are the ears or the tongue. We see what we want to see and are blind to that which we find displeasing. We hear what we wish to hear, that which compliments us or is sweet. We are told things that may not be true, but we are fooled by the speaker and their manner. The senses cannot be trusted entirely. Always seek the other side, the side of truth.
