The Yin and the Yang are opposite forces, yet they exist together in the harmony of the perfect circle. Even though this is natural, many find it difficult to discover this harmony and embrace it. By not knowing this essential, we set ourselves up for great suffering and disharmony. For there to be good in this world, there must be bad, for beauty there must be ugliness, for peace there must be conflict.
