Be like a tree that bends in the wind. Observe the world. Shut up and listen. You cannot hear the whispers of the Tao if you enjoy hearing your own voice too much. You do not know it all. Accept this fact and learn to learn. Life is about flexibility and change. Death comes to those brittle and unyielding. Yield like the water, adopt its persistence. Seek your own level in all you do. It is the quiet water that drowns the murderer, not the rapids that warn of danger.
