Status

A person who is one with themselves has no need for status, fame, or rank. He is at peace within and does not seek external approval in an attempt to confirm his worthiness. He does not seek what is sought after by those who are not at peace with themselves. Neither status, fame, or rank are lasting. Status can come and go like the summer wind. Fame can be fleeting and can disappear quickly like a late spring snow. Rank appeals only to the ego which is never satisfied with standing and wants more. A person with oneness has no standing in the world because he refuses to be classified. Thus, he is free and at peace with who he is. He finds solace within himself.
