One Mistake After Another

It was said by Dogen that a zen master’s life was one mistake after another. This good to remember. We might find ourselves discouraged over events. May blame ourselves for poor decisions, indecision, action, or inaction. If we remember his words, we know this is common for all. Decisions are like football that may receive many kicks before final outcome known. Regrets useless like screen door on submarine. Mistakes often greatest professor. Be wise student and learn lesson and move on to next class.
