ESP

Oneiromancy which comes from Greek όνειροϛ oneiros, dream or prophecy) is a form of divination based upon dreams…it is a system of dream interpretation that uses dreams to predict the future…some claim that their dreams portend future events and can be used to decide a course… as with other forms of extrasensory perception, there is no evidence that precognition is a real ability possessed by anyone…or so that’s what the ‘experts’ say…This of course brings up the science…if you will…of ESP. ESP is most commonly called the "sixth sense." It is sensory information that an individual receives which comes beyond the ordinary five senses; sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. It can provide an individual with information about the present, past, and future…as it seems to originate in a second, or alternate reality. ESP has been given various names over time such as clairvoyance, or "seeing in the distance."
People who have extrasensory perception are said to be psychic…some experts think that everyone has ESP to a certain degree; others think it is a gift that only certain people possess...ESP refers to telepathy, clairvoyance (remote viewing), precognition, and, in recent years, clairaudience. The existence of ESP and other paranormal powers such as psychokinesis are disputed by some, though experimental research on these subjects has been ongoing for over a century in a field known as parapsychology.
Most of the evidence for ESP, however, is anecdotal in nature. The anecdotes consist of two parts; the experience itself and the interpretation of it. I can personally attest to having ESP experiences on many more than one occasion. Anyone can make blind predictions and have one occasionally come to pass. However, having many experiences makes coincidence seem unlikely.
As I have mentioned previously, I have had personal brushes with ESP such as ‘sensing’ a bridge collapse…regarding the bridge collapse, I was driving with a friend when he pointed out a new bridge under construction. I sensed something peculiar which made me say, “That is going to collapse before it is finished.” The next day, I was shocked to hear on radio that part of the bridge had collapsed and three workers were killed. This and other experiences are true…now some scoff and wonder why psychics cannot predict the winning lottery numbers or other such events. I can only speak of my experience in that I have had no control over these ‘visions’. They have never come through active pursuit on my part. They happen randomly, sometimes occurring close together and other times far apart in time.

I cannot explain how these ‘visions occur’. They were not dreams. Sometimes it was just a sensory perception of something. It has been documented that people have gotten off planes due to a certain feeling with the plane crashing upon its journey. Other times, I could only recollect a vision of something with no idea of how that vision occurred…no matter how these visions came, they were accurate and most truthful and most real, no matter what the skeptics say.
