Understand Questions

Man who thinks he knows all the answers, often scores poorly on test. Better to try to understand all the questions than to try to know all the answers. Knowing questions often sufficient enough to illuminate lantern of wisdom. Most important to do homework and study Tao. Notions and conceptions are like large rock in depths under ocean. To break the surface of Tao, we must let go of rock to go upward to surface. Holding on to rock only keeps one submerged.

Must surrender illusions and judgments, pre-conceptions and discriminations. Accept all that flows down the river. Cannot only select and choose and be ‘convenient’ Taoist. Must accept inconveniences as well. All things are Tao and must be acknowledged as such. Must swallow what is sweet as well as sour.
