“Everyone
thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.” These
wise words are from Russian writer Leo Tolstoy. How true this is! We often see
ourselves as mistake-free individuals. We expect conditions around us to change
to our liking and few are willing to change to the conditions. The key to
harmony is the word told to Yuri Zhivago in one of my favorite films, ‘Doctor
Zhivago’. He is told by one army leader, “Adapt!”
